The Official Bio…

Natalie Gallagher is a professional educator who serves her clients as a communications trainer, facilitator, and public speaking coach to help them resolve core problems and reach common goals.

As a dedicated teacher, Natalie holds bachelor’s degrees in English and History from Eastern New Mexico University and a master’s in Education from the University of St. Thomas. She spent six years teaching public speaking, writing, narrative design and business communications at the Southwest University of Visual Arts. As a member of the core faculty, she mentored other instructors by showing them how to apply proven teaching methodologies to their areas of expertise to increase the efficacy of their instruction.

The main focus of Natalie’s communications trainer and facilitator work is with public health teams and leaders. Her clients include the Centers for Disease Control, North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, Gaston County Health and Human Services, Mental Health America, Convergint Technologies, The Georgia Department of Public Health, and the Georgia Department of Community Health. Additionally, she has recorded multiple resources for the Region V Public Health Training Center of the University of Michigan.

Being of service is a core component of Natalie’s professional philosophy, therefore she served three years in a volunteer role as a lead speaker coach and speaker curator for TEDxAtlanta from 2016-2019, and as the emcee of TEDxGeorgiaTech in 2019. Natalie also served as the Education Co-Chair for Toastmasters International District 44 from 2019-2020; while serving in this role, she designed training and learning sessions for members working to improve their public speaking and training skills. Additionally, Natalie has twice served as the President of Speakers Roundtable, Atlanta’s premiere advanced Toastmasters club for professional speakers, coaches, and trainers.

When Natalie isn’t working with clients, she is an avid reader, hiker, and movie buff. She lives in Atlanta with her husband and two insolent cats.
